Some Ideas For The Facewan Public Server READ THIS!!!!AND RESPOND!!!

- Enable the auto-minge-kicker because ... [do=i really need to answer that

]
- Set the ecs command <telestart> on lvl 1 and limit it to 2 dimensions.
- Prop-ban the torpedo on PHX add-on because loads of players like to mass stack them.
- Enable realistic falling damage(for all those suicidal emo's)And for some good laughs.
- Enable the mapvote or mapchange for full acces admins.
- Automapchange after 1h or 2hrs (ive seen that on tin-headz)

- Disable PvP-damage and disable all weapons to prevent abuse.
- Enable or fix the !votekick command

- Start a VIP group and let only the VIP group have ecs acces so not everybody can mass stack and cause server crashes every half hour.
- if the VIP idea might come through

make it rare but not impossible to get in VIP. Like people that can be trusted and that are known in the facewan community(not admin) Ive seen a lot of servers based on this idea. and ive read a thread almost the same as this idea.
- Set dynamite limit to 1 or maybe 0

- And it would be awesome if noclip would like, not be able to go through props. Ive seen it on a dedicated server but can't remember which one. It was a long time ago

I know not all of these ideas can be used but most idea threads like this are dead, and maybe it will inspire people and lead to some awesome changes :lovewcc:

I think espeon doesn't want it enabled, dont ask me why :S

Telestart and teledel are those blue-ish teleporters, heh?
They teleport basically EVERYTHING! EVEN WELDED PROPS! And that would fuck the server... hardcore.

I'll take a look into that, maybe i can find a way to restrict users from stacking those props.

Dunno, i don't like falldamage, but admins have more hp anyways

I am currently working on my adminmod, it will fully replace ulx
The vote-stuff isn't done yet, but there will be a vote-system, dont worry!

It's an experimental thing i made, i may put it in after fixing everything up

We discused that ALOT; _NO_ pvp damage would _incrase_ prop-spam and stuff... depends on espeon's decision

We will limit dynamites to 2 of 'em...

That's a script i made a long ass time ago... and the CPU doesn't like it - i have to do some research before setting up such a script

It used to fuck the server hardcore after a while and it would start kicking legit people and letting minges in, I'd like it on once Drogen's admin mod is finished.

If there is going to be map changes there HAS to be some way for non admins to change it back by voting or else it will stay empty (We really need a cycle of decent maps.)

I don't like this idea, if someone is building something and it switches maps, they get pissed because the server restarted. I don't think there is a need for this.

I wouldn't mind disabling it, we can try it and see what happens.

I'd really like to see !votekick and !voteban back in action, those were handy for when there was an asshat on the server and no admins.

I don't know about this, adding VIP is a complete rework of the admin system, thats quite alot of work to do just to add VIP.

That would be cool, but if the script is unstable, it will be facebans all over again (those people that have been with FaceWAN for long enough will remember.)

I cant wait till drogen's mod is finished and maybe the VIP idea is worth the trouble. I think it would help the server a lot especially when the stacking crashes the server again *sigh*

I just got the SQL-Stuff to work

Now i'll fix some stuff up and take a look into the vip-thing
There's still a free rank in my userlevel thing, so it won't even be much work

This looks much better then the original ulx the help menu looks much easier
and im surprised there are that many admins on facewan:D
i cant wait to see it in action:D
and i love to see auto minge kick finaly in action

There's a small update comming!

There will be a chatcommand to report bad users and mingebags.
It's syntax will probably be "/report yourtext" where yourtext is a text you can type freely.
Abusing or flooding this feature will get you banned ofc

Please note: This feature isn't available on the public server yet.

I'm going to make a system where reports can be viewed on either the forums or a separate page and things can be dealt with accordingly by admins. I'll have more info on this a bit later, as I'm in the middle of a PHP project for a Dynamic DNS service.
