Well hello FaceWAN. I have trouble setting up a Gmod 9 server. For a year ago, this worked as sharm with the "Source dedicated server" to steam. But it looks like this must be done with the old server files for now.

Can someone please make a easy tutorial on how to set up a server from scratch with Step to Step?

And tell me how to update HL2 content files in the server when I get the error message "Server outdated"?

I'm not good at this, but I'd appreciate it if some of you will help me with this.

It wasn't easy, I can say that. After Valve moved HL2:DM to the Orange box I had to try a bunch of things to get it to work and eventually I got it working somehow using a combination of different files.

And how did you do that? Can you please tell me how i can do this?
My srcds-old-files folder have: Bin,gmod9,hl2,hl2mp and platform.

This "Server is Outdated" goes on my nerves..

Those files for srcds-old I posted a while ago don't work anymore, that was before the move to The Orangebox engine. Right now my gmod9 server directory is a huge mess from trying everything and is several GB. I will have to try to make a server from scratch and repeat the process in order to figure out what got mine working.
