First you need to download and install the VMFLoader. This can be done by extracting the folder that has contents that look like this to the GMod9 lua folder.
What the contents I believe look like:
After installing that, you will need a folder called contraptions in your main GMod9 directory. When you do that, put the vmfs in a folder and put the folder in the contraptions folder.
It's been ages since I installed anything for GMod9 but I hope this works.
