Umm pardon my ignorance, but I have followed this thread with vague interest for a few weeks, and have noticed a disconcerting trend among the complaints. While we all face the occasional mingebag who is a pain in the ass, recent 'contributors' to this thread appear to have taken whining to a new level. No doubt this thread was created with the best of intentions to provide a feedback mechanism to administrators to deal with the worst elements from the servers, but after personally witnessing the exaggerated events on public servers which usually lead to one of the usual suspects complaining in this forum, I believe there is room for a neutral voice.

As an example of how low we have sunk, lets examine a recent complaint from the recently prolific wordsmith 'Chrisspitz'

I guess my point is that surely nobody wants to be left with a server full of professional whining pussies like this guy, "dark hero", or "chocolate thunder" to single out a few. You only need to watch the server chat for an hour or so before someone pops up proclaiming "I am friends with espeon", "I can get you banned", "I have a hotline of some kind to an administrator", "I have had xx people banned within hours" blah blah blah...

May I suggest that closer investigation be carried out before applying bans etc. based on the testimony of a 10 year old with an axe to grind? If these people are encouraged they will only multiply...

anyone can make stuff up. but it is up to the users to provide definite proof. but we trust our users enough to not try and ban someone as revenge for something, but we do occasionally need proof. and if espeon has already seen it then he has enough evidence to ban.

what are you anyway? a hypocrite? you come here telling us that other people are whining pussies when you are actually whining about how others are whining.

and lastly, this is not up for conversation. this is a ban thread not a discuss how people whine thread.

I check all bans with the server logs and search before I decide to ban, so all permabans are deserved. Also, if someone wants to post about their ban and wants an unban, it's usually granted if I think they will really stop.

My whole family is German. Im the only child of my family who isn't German due to the fact of Devorcing etc.

I get to listen to people speak German EVERY single day.
Why would I think its funny?

I was only recommending him to be unbanned because he plays on FaceWan alot.. And has for a long time, and he was probably mistaken for whatever he was doing due to the fact that I never see him killing. I had always seen him playing every time I was on the server.

Besides, I made this comment because someone "thought" he was mass stacking something. The word thought does not guarantee anything.

Wow godlike is my cuzin, and every one on the server said u were lagging them, and i wasnt calling any one names, darkhero kept saying thats it im going to crash the server, and he did he 2 times, cuz of his big group welding. PLz unban me, this was not fair. Darkhero kept killing me he traped me inside his thing and shoot rockets. Then he kept gltiching my stuff.

umh WTF i never groupwelded anything (bombing zephyr groupwelded his plane and it didnt crash or lag) and the server crashed one time due to the copygun, i also didnt trap him and i never fired a rocket or killed anyone.(CHECK THE LOGS PLZ)This is bullshit because he really shouldnt be unbanned and godlike is his cousin ???He kept calling him retard and stuff.
