E Fort Version 4? — FaceWAN Forum Archive

I've had this idea for a while now, but I think it's time to let everyone hear it.

I want to make another E Fort, but this time add the whole community into it, allowing anyone else to help in building it. I'm going to need ideas on what the fort should look like and what server it should be built on (I want to build it on a gmod10 server because of the many mods and stablility, but if I have to, I'll go with gmod9.) We will use some sort of communication such as though a teamspeak server or ventrilo server for communicating the building of the fort, but I need input on everyone else to see what they think. The previous E Forts were really fun to do and looking back at the videos, I just want to have fun doing it again.

This sounds like a good idea. I too would prefer Gmod10 as the build as there are many different props we could use to build the fort, add textures, etc.

I'll start thinking on an overall design.

I think gmod 10 because only you actually know the proper eshit for it, and you've probably forgotten most of it and everyone knows how to use gmod 10.

I'll get around to updating the server again soon if you really think this is going to happen.
Also going to need suggestions on what needs to be added for it (if anything special, like scripts or stuff).

Well, you can do that and I can lock down the server to FaceWAN members only, so we don't get any mingebags.

Well PHX2 is already a minimum, standard props are good too. I don't think there's much else needed besides those two. Not for me anyway.
ECS is already mounted, correct?

K00bes put all the mods on the server, but yes I'm sure he put ECS on it.

A problem for GMOD10 will be if you use the stack tool and adv. dupe it, it'll only dupe one thing unless you weld it all.
