Not only is it so cheap and easy to make that we could see interface devices by next year, they're demonstrating it....

On effing Gmod.

Or, at the very least, they're own Sourcemod. But I would recognize the Breen chair/desk combo anywhere. As well as that cardboard box.

Consider the following application:
A VR headset to provide not only stereo imaging, but binaural sound (Sound generated by having a virtual "Microphone" at the positions of the character's ears. The mind provides surround sound beyond anything you've ever heard based off of just two speakers.), a thought controller, and maybe some VR gloves, if they're even needed.

Provided you don't need gloves, find a way to force the body into "sleep mode" (When you sleep, your motor functions become disconnected from your body. Otherwise you'd injurse yourself when dreaming), and you've got a non-invasive Matrix-style interface.
Thats us fucken sweeet!! I NEED TO BUY THAT SHIT
man imagine what I could do with my mind XD

What 15$ wtf why's it so cheap
The Melons are a dead giveaway its a SourceMod of some sort they made. Anyway, That VR idea is really cool, just think of like Battlefield 2142 in VR or a Grand Theft Auto in VR.

> Trust your technolust
any one know when they are releasing it pubilcly?

Because it appears to only have one brainwave sensor. It's made of extremely simple electronics.
Many of which might be available at RadioShack for all we know.
Homebrew mind-reader, anyone?
