Hey guys, I'm getting a new PC. It'll be a custom built one. It's for my bday :D (Which is next week saturday).

I have a EVGA 9600 GT that is running on my slow as shit PCIe 4x slot; we've been neglecting the motherboard upgrade because we don't want to buy another CPU at the same time. It actually does surprisingly well. I can run Left4Dead at my monitor's native resolution with everything turned to max (sans film grain effect), and I get around 50 fps. So that 9800GT should be some hot shit.

It changed to a GTS 450 since we couldn't find a barebone with a 450 watt power supply. Oh well, this one is even better AFAIK

Personally, I would like to have the opportunity to rebuild my PC, since it's about 4 years old. I would put a core i7 in it and a kickass GPU. I wouldn't want to buy an SSD though. Until the tech for SSD's get better, I won't be in the market for them anytime soon.
