I'd disagree with it being the best year in gaming but I would say it was the last amazing year we had for gaming. No other year pushed out so many games that were good.

Nowadays 75% of the developers are completely fucking stupid because they make 20 cash grabs a year. Sure you get the occasional good game every now and then but most of them are shit sadly.
