On the subject of the CS:GO surf server, the only time I see it's used is when I get some friends together and go on it, or the occasional midday brazilian duo.
Although I like surf a lot, unless you have some sneaky attack to shut down all the other surf servers, forcing them to ours, I think at this point you may be wasting your money paying for it, and although I would hate to see it go (no pun intended), it seems pretty dead.
Not sure if this should be in server or Discussion post, just put it here.
If you need me, I'm going to go take a trip down memory lane and try the source server.

Hmm...im not all too familiar with surf servers on Counter-Strike: GO

It's on a dedicated server so the only thing it takes up is a little bit of RAM. It may get switched out a with a different game mode, surf on CS:GO didn't seem to get that popular.
