Well gentlemen,

I was thinking about this earlier....

You know how little fellas, (ages 6-10) come onto the servers every now and then?

Most of them are annoying, and...rude.

However, I came across one, that was being extremely nice, he was only 8 years old, but he was supportive, he was saying things like "Great Job guys" "We almost had them" "We'll do good next round" "Good Shot!" "Good Round"....

However players were still giving the poor fella hell..

"shut-up kid" "your annoying" "let your balls drop" etc.

I know their are age limitations for these games...I just feel bad for the poor kids, they are very young and innocent, they don't quite grasp how society works, and how the real world runs....

Maybe its just the "i wanna be a daddy thing" kickin in..lol....

But...for some reason, it is upsetting.

Oh and also, I have to drive my niece and her friends to Port Aranses for spring break...college kids.....

Bleh... I know some kids are good of heart but honestly its just the sound of the voice that is irritating... Sure if its like only a few people playing ill be supportive aswell toward them but if there is a whole bunch and everyone talks at once its just too much and you get irritated by everyone els and you end up throwing it all onto the kid with the high voice

You should feel bad for them, they don't deserve to be made fun of just because of their voice. I understand it when a kid is doing something dumb or wrong, but when people are shitting on kids for their voice, it's stupid. I find it best to ban people who are flaming kids for no good reason, they have the opportunity to mute them whenever, but they choose not to and make a big deal about it. As far as I'm concerned, not taking advantage of the in-game mute feature and then bitching about someone's voice warrants a ban for sheer stupidity.

Overall, nobody should be judging kids(or anybody for that matter) on their voice, it's stupid and immature.

I'm always on either side of the coin when it comes to children on CSS.
My first thought is always the fact it's a 16+ game and they shouldn't even be allowed to play it but then I also feel bad for them when they're getting anally raped simply for talking.
I can't say I'm not guilty of muting them a few times, but it's simply because I follow the rule of 16+.

Every now and then I find them cute so I just let them be

Like im always going to tell them to shut up or knock their shit off but im not going to go off in a rant like half the people on the server and just flat own lay it out harsh for em.... hell i was like that at one point if first played counterstrike at like age 8 no mic ofcourse but still im not that hypocritical.

Ah man, this brings back the memories of Russian vs German kids on gmod 9 RP and Build haha!
DUNKER was a special guy, he's still in my friend list to this date, may their frame rates be high and resolutions be massive.

I am 66% addicted to Counterstrike. What about you?

But seriously, I fucking hated those kids on GM9. Those pricks weren't innocent, they were plotting against my friends and I. Good thing my friends and I were good at chasing foreigners away from RP though.
