Unban-Thread

I seen this problem happen too many times so here is what I think about it. First off, never let your brother, friend, sister play on your Steam Account in general, expecially if they are evil. Also I've seen some people use this as a lame excuss. So you better start playing properly or keep the Steam privatly to yourself.

It seems that EVERYONE has a brother that loves to do this. I have seen this excuse so many times

Yes, that one does sound fishy..But from first hand experience at being a little brother I can't discount these all together. I got my brother banned from servers all the time when I was 13 or 14...just like that. You shouldn't always throw them out the window..but this one

My first suggestion to you is. Calm the fuck down. My second suggestion would be that you check the rules for unbanning then being all shouty screaming unban me.

Instead of taking it upon yourself to kill him back, just report his name and steam ID here. Do that next time.

I was getting killed by a Mingebag and someone named I love cookies. Cookie ran me over 2 times and minge spawn killed me about 5 times. I finally had it and started killing them. Before that a admin said if you kill anyone I will permaban you. So they started running me over. I tried telling the admins but they wouldnt listen. So I took it upon my self to get them to stop. So I shot a rocket at cookie and killed him. Then BAM You've been Perma banned. Now, I like to play on your servers alot. Actually these servers are bassicly the only ones I play on. So please unban me. That was unfair and unjust. My Steam name is Zamin_Au. I go by CrazyCloneTrooper. But, unfortunatly, I have no clue how to find my STEAM ID. Someone reply and tell me? If I find it i'll edit this post.

According to the Banlist, you were only banned for an hour, and your ban is up in 25 minutes. I unbanned you, since it's only 25 minutes, but next time, report anyone that starts killing, it helps us to keep the server minge free.

Hmm. It seems like I was banned. I am in question of this judgment due to the fact that i was not killing, and, infact was doing the exact opposite, trying to hide from that Shadow fellow that was using some kind of nuclear bomb type hack to instaslay everybody on the map. I left the server for a while, and when i went to go back on, i got the banned message, and it told me to check my console, which, unfortunately, revealed nothing to me. I checked the banlisting, and lo, I cannot find my username nor my steam number.

Your not in the banlist, but I'm quite sure your issue is that you don't have a valid steamid ticket, log out of steam and log back in and it should fix your issue.

You were banned for stacking explosives 100s of times, its become a real problem with people crashing the server that way. That is enough for a permaban, but since this is a first offense, I'll unban you. Just remember, next offense is a permaban, no questions asked and no unbans.

You've been unbanned, as you were banned before the new banning system was put in place. This is a warning, the next time you break a rule you will banned according to the severity of the violation.

My status is unbanned and it has been that way for a day now... Yet when I try to join the game it kicks me via console with a "BANNED" measge. Not sure if this is a issue or not or if by some strech of the imagination I am still banned. I would like to be unbanned please.

You have been unbanned since it was a first offense, next time you break a rule you will not be unbanned.

Ok Iv already posted this in the gmod 9 servers category but I think this would be a better place to post it . An admin named "DICK IS DONE" came into the server, turned noclip off and started using the admin code that kills everyone over and over, he finally stopped and started building a base...later on, I was going to bring a friends copy gun save up and see if I could improve it for him(-cgload combinebase) and i was right over the admins fort when I loaded it, I was aiming at an open space on the ground near his fort but not in it and im not kidding, my dog jumps up onto my lap and makes me jolt and I accidently loaded it to where its screwing up his base....on accident..... but not to him. he permabanned me and set the reason to "DONT UNBAN THIS GUY EVER"
I can only play on 1 server and gmod 9 is the only game I can play due to my horrible graphics card. Can someone please unban me? Like curse said in an earlier thread, If it looks like im doing something wrong, dont automatically perma ban me out of nowhere, kick me....other then that.... Read the rules, it says in the MOTD killing is a bannable offense. You were only banned for 4 hours or so, consider this a warning, next time you break a rule, it will be even longer.

Okay,well,articuno and some admin that didnt have a name... were on,and somebody started to color peoplez props to make em invsible,and aritcuno started killing the people that messed with other's props,and he killed me 3 times for no reason and ninja a bunch for no reason,and some others were for really no reason,like mingebags who were just making vehicles and stuff,then for some reason,he banned ninja for an hour,which in his post says he shot a rocket at the "cake" somebody made,,then,somebody did some shit( i unno,he said i "translated" it) and the blank admin said something about it was me who did it and then he perm banned me.... i dont how the hell i got blamed for these things when i didnt do shit

Yes, I killed a lot of people, but I did in fact have a reason. Everyone I shot at was either killing, or messing with other people's props.

You, and Ninjadude was shooting rockets all over Flareon's cake, which is under the rule of messing with other people's props. Also, I hinted at you two that it was against the rules to do so, and as you didn't stop, I shot you. Which really didn't do much good. You just started shooting rockets at me, and I was really close to the cake, so that affected it too. Then you started colouring the cake, a rule strictly prohibited!

So, since you didn't get a grip, after we told you so a billion times, banning was needed. I tried to be reasonable, not banning you, and only killing you as punishment. This usually gets trough to a lot of people, even mingebags. Sadly, it did not to you two.

So, you were perma banned, and I gave 2 hours to Ninjadude.
