Surf server sounds fun. I'll pray with you.

Never tried surfing in counter strike but sounds interesting.

(was forced to do real surfing... but it doesn't really work when you can't swim...)

And surfing in CS is amazing once you know what your doing. If you've never done it before you'll probably hate it when you first try it. Takes some time to figure it out depending on how quick of a learner you are I guess.

And surfing in real life without knowing how to swim? That sounds like a bad combo lol

surf is difficult I can't get the hang of it, but thats because I die three times and ragequit lol. yeah last time i tried i was getting pretty good it's really fun.....lol im going to go surf

I'm working on a surf server now, I just can't seem to find a good pack of surf maps.

it looks cool from some of the videos I saw of people doing it, Ill definately give it a go. But if its harder than bunny hopping, I'll probably fail (I can't decide what I'm doing wrong... it wouldn't be because I play with the mouse on my knee instead of a proper flat surface, would it? :s)

yes. a really bad combo. my fellow students were mortified that my teacher forced me to surf. He was like ''Whats the worst that can happen?''

I have so many surf maps..
What type of surf would we have? More "skill" surfing maps? Or more "deathmatch" sort of maps?

I could make a pack even though I lost all of my maps a while ago and am still gaining them all back piece by piece. Pretty sure I still have quite a few.

For those that need to learn how to surf I found a pretty good video that may help.. Even though the guy sucks at surfing lol - Explains the basics if you dont already know them

- As long as you can navigate smoothly surfing should be fine depending on the map

Make a pack and upload them somewhere so I can start on the rest of the server.

I just put all my maps.. not the horrible crap ones.. and some other map pack mixed - into one huge .rar

I don't have a desk in my room, so my laptop is on my bedside table and I sit on the bed, with mouse on knee. For regular gaming it's manageable, I can kill, although sometimes I run out of knee to move... I might practice surfing and hopping with a proper flat surface one day...

You should get a mouse pad and lay down and put your mouse on the mouse pad on your bed. That sounds alot easier

I might give that a go... need to get a mouse pad though! the only mouse pad I have at the moment is one with my cat's face on... its awful quality too lol
