Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

We have talked about new css servers , But an CS-GO server would be great too, But it's up to Espeon

I've seen this before as well, I just hope Valve doesn't ruin this version of Counter-strike like they did in the past.

Yes, we will have a server, or two.

Looks pretty cool but I seriously hope they use an upgraded engine and have a good SDK that comes with it.

From the looks of it, the L4D2 engine is being used, I could be wrong though.

Looks like they're using the old M4A1 world model as a place holder. I hope their world models don't end up looking like crap like in CSS.

Honestly CS:GO only looks like some incredibly polished GMod10 CSS-themed server mod - I'm still really unsure what to think about CS:GO - will buy it anyways, not that i'll ever leave faith in valve :D

The only problem I have with Valve is their engine. It's way behind some of the other great engines like the Cry Engine and Unreal Engine.

Apparently it's the Portal 2 engine or a new updated Source engine..
I'm still going to be getting it, it's not a full price game, it will be a download on consoles so I see it being $20-$25, not bad.

Can't wait to play and hopefully I get into the beta :D

Not currently no. Valve said they may add stuff depending on community input so it could be added and removed or who knows? We are going to have to wait till October's beta to be sure.

Whenever Valve releases the dedicated server content, and if I can get a copy to test and make sure the server runs OK.

Kindasorta.. Its public in the sense that everyone can get access to it.. eventually.
They are making it available in waves from what I've heard, everyone who has a PAX code will get in the first group of roughly 400 (So far 200 codes given away at PAX and 200 and some other game convetion). So you may have to wait.
I am hoping there is going to be a refer a friend or something like that, but even I have to wait to see whats going on till October.

As for when they release the dedicated server content nothing has been said. Nothing has even been said about the servers for the beta.. But will most likely be hosted by Valve until they publish the dedicated server.

Edit: Oh, its $45 to guarantee yourself to get into the beta lol..
