Played killing floor, but not for long. It's bad enough I panic in css, but I panic like crazy in KF... theres no cross hair, just iron sights, movement seems slow, zombies come from nowhere and i panic and die >.< then it takes ages loading... I might try it again, maybe I'll try to be braver later. My housemate told me I would probably prefer left 4 dead.

lol I do live in a wooden barn with animals running around but im only like 200 meters from my moms house and I got neighbors like 500 meters on both sides of me. One of my neighbors wont put their dogs away so they bark every time I go down to main house to get something to drink or eat. It is really frustrating especially at two in the morning. It's so dark, and I worry about snakes and coyotes, and then boom got a dog 10 feet away flipping out

my brother has left for dead. initially its fun as hell, but then it gets really boring fast. I dont why just everyone I know who had it wishes they would spruce the game up.

Ah, all my housemates are ill... two are coughing constantly. At the moment, I'm doing fine, fingers crossed it stays that way. If I get a cold, I can't play with my hamster >.< as he can catch human colds and those might kill him.

It might have been because when you played, the server was running it's daily backup. I just starting having it backup nightly to another server in case the hard drive in it dies.

Wow. I think I'm in love with my lecturer - not in that way! But he gave a really good lecture thats making me want to do neuroscience... but I really want to do criminal forensic psychology too!!! It was the prefrontal cortex and how it has these higher order functions. Was so fascinating... I'm worried I'm gonna start seeing people as if they're robots - like almost everything you do, every decision etc is basically neurons firing in your brain... My coursework is also on this thing where you can predict if people are changing their attitudes or dealing with conflict by the activation of some area in your brain (anterior cingulate cortex)

I had my programming professor telephone me this morning. I pretended I was someone else. Probably wondering why I haven't turned in an assignment. To do work in his class I need to get visual installed, but to do that i need to hook up cd-rom. Every time I try to hook up my ide to my hard-drive and cd-rom, my computer wont boot up. Seems like it will only boot up with my primary HD hooked up, nothing else. I am freaking. Maybe I should just download visual from pirate bay. who knows.

My word is dl but it's all in chinese and I don't understand it well enough to do much on it... Well all I need it for is to type essays though.

Its nice your teachers care about you enough to call you. Teachers in uk can't care less - they just moan about how they don't get paid enough! and one teacher was a dick to my sis, he looked at her coursework, predicted her an A/B and told her its fine to submit. So she makes a few minor changes to try to get a concrete A and when HE marks it, gives her a C. Makes no sense.

Did you set the Master/Slave setting right on the hard drives/CD drives?

ugggggggghhhhhhhh........I am so bored. I guess not bored...just stir-crazy. Man, living here sucks, other than chores and homework, I have nothing to do. I don't like being down in the main house. being around my mother and little brother too long make's them suspicious of my activity. seriously if I am around my mom for more than 5 minutes, she starts asking me personal questions. I hate that, cuz she is just trying to give me shit. I need a job. Someplace to go for 10 hours a day. Dr. Pro got a job 2 weeks ago.....and he might never come back. The only time I have seen him is for five minutes in the morning before he goes to work. And in the last week I've only seen him once. lucky bastard. ughhhh I'm bored of this also.

I don't think I could keep small pets. they escape a lot. The last house I was in the kids would lose their snake for three days or so. I am scared of snakes. Not handling them or anything but them sneaking up on me. I had a few iguanas. One was like 4 feet long. lol it couldn't escape. but the mean male ones could because they are only 2 feet long. don't know why I am talking about iguanas now.

We need a tf2 server I'm quite liking the game at the moment... and I tried using the scout like I was playing css (taking on Espeon's advice lol) and it worked a charm. Helped me get that disturbing mask...

ugh. I was so close to getting tf2 while the deal was on. I had my little brother running upstairs with his bank card so we can buy it. then I realized that the offer ended a day earlier. Got a lot of things done with the server today, including the replication of the databases I tried before. I also changed a bunch of settings in the database server to speed things up, you should notice the forums loading faster now. The test Gmod servers now have working admin and everything else. I've been trying to make the transition to the new server go as smoothly as possible, moving over little bits at a time.

Well, It appears that I have killed my laptop!
The reason it died is because I had a little bit of static on my hands after putting on my socks.
I went to touch my keyboard, the shock traveled down into the motherboard thanks to an exposed key, and now all I get when I try to turn it on are 3 short beeps followed by all the lights upfront flashing red.
Gotta love how Toshiba makes their laptops SO sensitive to changes in current.

I took it to Best Buy and got it working again.
I was thinking of saving up for a Toshiba Qosmio.
Best for gaming, but on the downside, the laptop isn't exactly what you'd called "inconspicuous."
The thing is huge and it's all red and has this chrome like shine to it.

Lol you think your housemate is bad, my step brother(the one who just got out of jail) came up to my room last night while I was at my interview and stole my cd-rom and destroyed my computer. fuck I was so pissed. I gave him my old computer like 3 months ago before he went to jail, and he figured I would be cool with him cracking my computer open and unplugging and stealing shit. My computer barely works as it is. The only way I can get it to turn on is If i have 1 ide cable hooked up to my primary hard drive and my cd- rom. my secondary hard drive does not work, neither does my cd-burner, so it wont boot when that shit is plugged in. I came home and the only thing plugged in was my secondary hard drive. I fucking went downstairs and started pushing the guy around and even my little brother was helping. He thinks he's hard, but yesterday he admitted to his dad that he is scared shit-less of me. He should be. I might kill him.

I went ahead and switched out the ide cable and now its working again. I thought it was the hd that took a shit because the old ide cable was also showing that the cd-rom was working. its weird....feels like my computer isnt working but it is.
