Wow. So many old dudes lately. I met one at an ethnic market in Edinburgh two days ago. Cornered me into buying a hat. To be honest, I was tipsy from too much mulled wine so it wasn't hard to make me buy the damn hat lol!

Went up north for 4 days. Was quite fun, sadly I saw no nessie at Loch Ness.My last day in Scotland, it snowed. Scottish accents are so funny to listen to. Next time, I won't stay at that youth hostel - it was well kept but I'm quite sure the bed either had mites or something or I was allergic to the bedding cause I've got this full body rash.

We had snow yesterday, not enough to settle so we have dangerous icy roads now. it's like -2 to -5 degrees celcuis where i live. Also windy so going outside is quite unpleasant.
Theres moor hens in the ponds near my house and the ponds have iced over so the the hens just sit on fences giving us the evil eye. Even when I fed them.

It was a really pretty movie and I do like pretty things. Yeah, they do plastic glasses which are rather like sun glasses.

I had a 39.3 degrees celcuis fever last night (102.74 farenheit). Had my family scared shitless. Had to go on the uk swine flu website to get authorisation for Tamiflu. To be honest, I don't think i need antivirals as my fever broke over night and by the time my sisters got my meds, I was back down to 36. Plus the antivirals make me wanna puke.
What a way to spend new years eve. I was meant to work and I desperately needed the cash that came with it lol

Yeah, thats what I heard. My fever started last night, I got the Tamiflu this morning so thats within 48 hours. Although I'm not quite sure if sorethroat on its own counts, cause I started having a sorethroat and cough on Tuesday. Fever only came last night.
I'm not keen on taking it due to what people say about the side effects and the nauseous feeling I'm getting. I can't even find any info online about whether I can take Domperidone (anti sickness meds) with it.

I can't play with my hamster neither!!!! He's gonna be so stressed >.< Poor baby!

our house stunk of vinegar today cause my sister has a kidney problem and can't afford to get flu so she did something crazy... she boiled white vinegar cause someone (I got this feeling it was my mum) told her that would kill all the airborne germs. bf and I chipped together to get a ps3. Been playing MW2 before flu. Suprisingly, I don't do too bad although I wish I could plug in a mouse and play it like cs:s. Controlling crosshairs with a ps controller is just plain awkward. The game I really want to play is Little Big Planet so got to get my brother to lend me his copy!

My mum always goes in my room to tidy up but most the time, she ends up throwing away stuff I need. I think one time she found stuff in my room she'd rather not of found, according to my sister. I went to work today with dad and the snow came in so fast and heavy that I'm stuck in a hotel because we couldn't work. Snow is so bad, dad says I might not get home tomorrow. Well, he can linger wherever he likes, I'm getting the train. Trains seem to fail all the time, apart from during snow emergencies. I recall, in secondary school, every snow day I wished trains were cancelled so I couldn't go to school but unfortunately, only hour long delays occured lol.

Oh, its so white outside!!! After last two days ordeal, I'm slightly terrified of snow. I remember thinking it won't gonna settle because it just rained previously but I guess the first flakes were just snowy sacrifices preparing the ground for the heavy stuff!
My dad's heavy mecedes sprinter van got stuck during a delivery because there was this steep slope and his was a rear-wheel drive. I had check the road for no cars while he got ready for a long run up to clear the slope. On our third try, I could see his wheels sliding at the back and he goes 'Push the van!!!' I was like, no way! It's more likely to roll back and run me over!!!! We got out on the 4th try. Bad times.

house is coming along quite nicely. got it all masked off during the week and started painting it last night after work. painting it like a flat dark brown in the study and living room, and doing a tan-ish beige and white through the rest of the house. as soon as the guy comes to hook up the internet on Thursday I'm moving in. I am excited, since I will be living in the actual city instead of on a mountain my connectivity and speed are going to be fucking great!

I manage to get 68 in both of my courseworks, thats a 2:1 which was quite nice, especially since one guy who usually does better than me got a 2:2 and the marker is known to be harsh.

My housemate, guy called Dan, betrayed us today. Two people came to look at our house and I asked him who they were and he said he was getting someone to replace him. He didn't even tell us before and wasn't gonna till I asked. I thought he was a friend well angry. Wouldn't be so bad if he told us earlier. He says he'll come back every wednesday to visit but I don't want to see him in our house anymore so he's not welcome.

well I made the mistake today of telling my mother that I would never talk to her again if she didn't stop putting up with her new husbands bullshit. Yesterday that asshole came up to my room, ransacked it, and found Dr. Pro's bong. He then PLACED the bong on the desk and brought a couple of people who were interested in buying the house upstairs and then showed them my room. Then the guy left my mother and said he wouldn't come back until she cuts ties with us. Well she is listening to this ass and she is blaming the state of her marriage on me and my brother. I told her to fuck off and she told me to fuck off. So I am moving out today, but the cable guy wont be at the house until thursday to hook up internet, so i'll be back in a few days. good hunting
